This is a book that's part of some kind of little collection from this author who presented in a simple way, kind of short biography for kids, great woman in various «field of activity». This one is about Anne Frank and is marvelously illustrated, amazing arts, all black and white but really good. And the story present the sad and dramatic story of this young girl. Perfect if you want your kid to know about her.

Nothing much to say here. A picture book of horses by a photographer. Perfect coffee table book for horse lovers. It separated in chapter depending of the environment I would say... Great photography quality!

2,5/5. This book present 50 states, obviously, of the US and try to makes us understand the important place/people/culture of those states in two pages each. Very short, lack information, more emphasis put on the illustration style and all. I have trouble finding the targeted public here, because it has a young child visual and short text and information, your guide is an eagle and all that children stuff, but at the same time who would want to present a geography teaching of the 50 states to a 4-6 years old child... Not bad, but just not sure about the intention and the utility of it.

Not for me... the illustrations were sketchy, the narrative was not that interesting and there are not enough information to really rely on the veracity of those facts...maybe they're right but we just don't really know. I'm not a big fan of biography, but if I want to learn about someone, I need something more deeper then that. i know the comic book style was maybe to be simple and attract a younger public... not sure but anyway not for me... sorry!

Excellent thriller. On sent un peu le premier roman et certains éléments sont prévisibles Cependant, l'ambiance a été l'élément fort pour moi. Une ambiance de petite ville, et même de famille, très louche, douteuse et angoissante par moment, suffocante presque. Une auteure qui mérite sa place et que je continuerai de lire avec plaisir!

Big thumbs up for the arts here, magnificent illustrations! Unfortunately the «story», there is no really story at all in fact, is less interesting. Kind of blend between humor, reflexion, poetry, a mix of genre in a comic. This is definitely original, but the result was not that interesting to me. I still give points for the originality and the illustrations!

Really not good! Full of clichés, a pace terribly slow, very teeny (dialogues, romance, life events, etc.) and unlikeable characters.. I'm still on my quest to explore YA from different book and point of view, but so far, not much success... so maybe I'm just unlucky or this category of book is clearly not for me...

I'm a bit tired of all those zombie related stories, but I got to say for the hardcore fans who can't get enough of it. This anthology is a good one, nothing really great or special about it, but casual zombies stories that works well. Like all anthology some are betters then others, but a good overall and various style of zombies stories has well. Better then expected!

Not sure why I read it, it happen to me from time to time. I would be brief on it... An average erotica book about a gigolo (a man who get paid for getting laid with women, male version of an escort I would say) and his many intercourse relation. Lot of graphic description of sexual action, very light story in the background. Literacy porn... if you into it...

Sports fans should love it. This book goes around all American states and present sports, athletes, mascot, numbers, stats, championship, titles and more. Each state is presented between two pages and maybe 7-8 for the «bigger sport» states. Well done, good pictures... a good coffee table for sports fans!
