Very good but not has great has I wanted it to be! We continue to explore the rivalry between Vader and Tarkin and we start to see a big treat on the horizon...

First of all I really enjoy the more juridic aspect of this comic, it's original and a welcome change that bring something new. The ending was surprising and I look forward the next one to see where it will go! But, even if it won't impact my rating, I got to say that the transition between issue #50 and this one is a bit fast, there is no mention of the wedding, no mention of the ending of the wedding series (with the villain planning...) so I was expecting more link to the last one and it was kind of a deception. Finally, we saw evidence in this one that Batman changed... and many this is a result of the wedding... we'll see... Anyhow a good one!

Mix feeling about this one. First it look good enough and the illustrations have a unique and beautiful style. The story present a small afghan village where fruits grows and the family that grows them. Very easy cheesy story and then boom, last pages, two sentences, very hard, where that came from, ending. I understand the point of view trying to show the ravage that war does everywhere but the message don't get through that well. If you read it with children, this definitely need an after talk. Still a good one!

4,5/5. Amazing third and last book of the Summoner trilogy! Like the second one, there was some parts that were a bit long in the middle of it, but the ending... wow! A great emotional and epic battle! The characters evolve all along with the books which is good, because time past, and it seem real the way the event make the characters grows and all that! Really a good series and a young author that worth discovering! There is a prequel to the series, Outcast, the title is if my memory is right, and I will probably look into it somewhere this fall maybe, but I will definitely continue reading from Taran Matharu!

4,5/5. This was weird but in a good way. I don't understand how the ratings is so low on Goodreads. I've got to say that the first 60 pages are bad, very casual low romance road trip, and at some points I though I had made an horrible choice, but then come the diner, this diner is a very uncomfortable one and everything get weirder from here. A psychological twist, some turnout are easy to see coming, but there still some surprise in it. The ambiance, this dark, weird, crazy ambiance is really well achieved in this book and it's definitely one of it's strength. Don't want to say to much because I think it's better going into it without knowing much, but if you love psychological thriller, ans searching for something that come out of the mass, you should have a look at this one!

1,5/5. Very slow pace. Long part of it should have been taken out. Poorly written. Story and characters that are not really interesting. I really don't get the very very high rating this book currently have on good read, almost 4.5, this is ridiculous... The only thing that was a bit interesting was the reconstruction after brain damage, but if you're interested into that, read a informative book or a real life story, not this piece of fiction...

Sure there is a strong religious message in this one. But the message is good even if you don,t believe in God. This book is about finding a purpose in life, and making that purpose in service of other people. Helping and caring for people. And I think that it is a very positive message for everyone believer and non!

An ode to life, living and enjoying it all and not bother about the weather or anything in fact, just have fun! Simple enough but still a message that we too often loose track of!

Funny easy humor about a octopus that just don't fit in in any way. Teah it laugh about being rejected by others, so some people may find it offensive, but I think you can laugh about anything, doesn't mean everyone one need to find it funny, but there is a difference between humor and reality. It's still very soft and good, a bit repetitive by the style of humor, it's always more or less the same and it's done in three cases «jokes» but there is still an evolution, kind of a continuity between every three cases and there is a «story» that goes through all the book. Not awesome, but good, entertaining and it make me laugh so I think it has achevied it purpose!

A simple enough story about animal making the sound of others. Nothing much to it, but I think some kids might find it funny so an average one!
