This book is a colossal work on all the universe that Anne Rice has created. Not just the vampire chronicles, we cover characters or places from her witch series as well as all her others works, even if the vampire chronicles still is her biggest one. This book is well done, organizes by alphabetical order and with a glossary so it's easy to use has a reference books for the old timers fans or for reader you read one book here and there and may not recall this characters too well for example. Lot of content, some illustrations too, not necessary, but they had a bit to it. I would say a must have for the Anne Rice fan!!

Quelle déception! J'avais adoré la trilogie (Eux, Nous, Lui), mais je ne peux pas dire la même chose de cette nouvelle série de Patrick isabelle. Je dois lui donner, cet auteur représente adroitement le monde des ados d'aujourd'hui. Il évite les stéréotypes, maitrise bien le langage, le mode de vie, il ajoute ici l'utilisation des textos et tout cela est bien fait, ce qui est loin d'être toujours le cas, alors bravo! Par contre, l'intrigue ne m'a pas accroché. Je ne me suis jamais vraiment attaché aux personnages, qui sont un peu interchangeables, manquent de profondeur, et l'intrigue était assez simple et partiellement prévisible. J'apprécie la présence et la création, il y en a trop peu, de roman d'horreur pour la jeunesse et je donne des points à l'auteur pour cela. J'aurais par contre pris un peu plus d'horreur, je crois qu'il aurait pu pousser un peu plus et cela aurait encore été de bon goût. J'ai aussi trouvé que le livre avait quelques longuers, ce qui m'a fait perdre une prtie de mon intérêt. Des très bonnes choses dans ce livre, mais ce ne fut pas suffisant pour que j'apprécie réellement ma lecture, les faiblesses de l'intrigue ont fait très mal dans mon cas. Mes attentes ont peut-être également joué sur mon appréciation, car j'en avais beaucoup!

This book is so good!! The illustration are beautiful and very attractive for young children. It's strange to say but they look soft, calm. We follow a young boy who visit different type of home. There is more or less a story, but a very deep and important message about the importance of love and family over material «needs». Really positive message in this one and I think it deserve a lot of attention. So check it out!!

Too meaningless for me. The illustrations were nothing out of the ordinary and the story has no message or nothing really special about it. Some part of it were funny and some children may like it, because it isn't bad, but it just doesn't have anything to make it stand out.

This one was really good. One of those pearl I read so much indies/underground book or comic book. There is a lot of action in this one, but there is also a solid story, evolving characters, strong universe. The illustrations are good, but not the strongest part of the book. It's a great comic book and I will be looking for the next issue closely!

A good children book with a good adventure and some humor has well. Nothing extraordinary but a simplicity that does it!

I hated the illustrations style from the very beginning, but the story look epic enough so I gave it a try. Not only were the illustrations not for me, but they just became horrible in the middle, change style a couple of time during the book for no particular reason, and came back to their original style. The story, epic at first, was looking good, but slowly felt into a parody of himself, bad humor, not enough/good action and a story that goes mostly nowhere. Last point, in the beginning they find rocks (around twenty of them) with kind of drawing on them, they were all on each other and messed up, they seem to put them back in order (by luck or a rare talent) really fast and reading/understanding them in a few minutes. How are we supposed to take this book seriously after that? I don,t know! I haven't!

Epic battle, but just no story at all. And with this wedding over our head for the last two months, lets do it and be done with it!!

Wow!! An amazing start for this new series. I always like the Hulk but the series of the last year were not really for me, but I really think this one will be! Loved it!

Good enough as a part of the prelude to the wedding series, but in itself, it didn't happen so much important stuff. Good but not great!
