Even if this is a very personal opinion, the 1000 books you should read, this book present a vast and quite good selection of book. Fiction and non-fiction. Classic and more «underground». Well know author and some more obscure. There is book for everyone. It goes over the naming the book part, with a long enough description of it, it gives their genres, their author of course, and just enough information to allow you to form your opinion and see if this book is for you or not. A interesting book for those who are searching for their next read or that just wanted to full their tbr with some news ideas!

Buddha bowls are very hyped right now and even if they're quite easy to do in the fundamental design, this book can help you bring some new idea to the tables (literally) and enjoy your meal. Simple enough, but well made, well separated and with good pictures quality, I would have like a bit more pictures but still... A good book for the newcomers as well as those you want to change their habits.

I was expecting something way more darker then that. Very casual aunty-thriller. And the facts that I get the book three for reviewing without having read the first two, maybe it have a part in me finding this story uninteresting.. Way too slow for me!

2,5/5. An adaptation of the well know myth of Herakles or Hercules, if I'm not mistaken those two are actually the same person. The graphic part of it is beautiful and have a different style, so it get out from the mass in this aspect. The story in itself, well it's an old story, but I would say the adaptation doesn't bring anything really new and I find some part kind of flirting with a style of humor that didn't please me, so it loose some points theres for me. Original, but not that great.

Excellent comme toujours avec Delisle! Un roman graphique qui raconte une année de sa vie passé à Jérusalem. Entre anecdotes de tous les jours et réflexion scoliologiques/politiques sur la situation de ce coin du monde. J'ai appris certaines choses et cela permet, à un certain point, de comprendre ou plutôt d'aborder le conflit israelo-palestinien. Un roman graphique dense et riche en contenu et avec un côté plus ludique également. J'ai adoré!

I don,t really understand the hyped over that book. Its not a bad one, but just not has great has the reviews made me think it was. There is a strong diversity/acceptance in therm of races/species behind the story which is good and the universe is great, well made, original and immersive for a short story. All great point so far. The problem for me was that the story in itself was a bit boring. It's kind of slow and there not much happening in term of action. It made me think about the Metamorphosis by Kafka in some ways and with a scyfy touch to it. It hard to explain and the more I try the more I look terrible doing it, so I will try to closed this review soon... But it feel to slow to me, too much thing left unexplained, maybe too ambitious for a really short story, I'm not sure, but there is something that didn't please me. Good and bad in this one!

Wow! Great comic in the Mortal Kombat universe. Tons of actions... obviously! And a better storyline then expected! Th illustrations are just wonderful!!

The problem is the experiment part. A very very basic experiment, you can find way better stuff to do on those subject on the Internet, that a big fail on this part. 5 stars for the theory, 1 stars for the experiment, I'll go in between with a 2,5.

It started really good and even if I hadn't read the first volume, I was able to get in easily. The universe is interesting and original, but I find myself loose interest quickly because of the slow pace story evolution and the childish look of the illustrations. Definitely not for me, without being a bad comic book.
