A book for the very young one, where they can learn the meaning of small/big, color, shape, texture, etc. The illustration are a bit too simple/geometrical for me, and the story is of course really repetitive, but the strong point of it, and I thing the purpose of it, is to learn and understand new vocabulary! So if you take in in that perspective, it achieve it!

Really good! Tons of actions! Interesting characters and even if I think they make a bit too much happening around that wedding, all that tension coming up and all those heroes and villains that gonna be there. This may be a wedding to remember!

We're getting back to it. More action and interaction between the characters, even if I'm still very looking forward the apparition of Dr. Manhattan. I think we're back on track!

Kind of a documentary about the Elf. It cover the basic (class, weapons, magics, great wars, and more...). Being a fan of fantasy for years,I didn't learn much from it, but if you're knew into it and want to learn what are the Elf, it can be a decent choice, but I would recommend reading great fantasy novel, it will take more time, but you'll learn more and have way more fun doing it. The best part of it were the illustrations that are truly beautiful!

Je n'ai vraiment pas apprécié ce livre. La prémice me semblait bonne, mais on passe rapidement de la mort de sa femme, à son travail, ce qui aurait dû être un drame énorme passe pratiquement inaperçu... Je n'ai pas du tout aimé l'écriture non plus, peut-être est-ce dû à la traduction, mais je n'ai pas accroché. Bref, pas grand chose de positif sur ce livre selon moi...

Je n'y arrive pas. Je ne comprends pas l'intérêt envers cette série. Peut-être il y a-t-il quelque chose qui cloche avec moi... Je sais pas que je ne suis pas le public cible de cette série, mais en général je sais reconnaître les qualités d'un livre peu importe le genre et j'aime bien la littérature jeunesse quand même. Par contre, cette série, rien ne semble fonctionner selon moi. Les gros points faibles selon moi sont : le manque d'originalité, l'écriture et les personnages mals définis. Pas pour moi!

Funny short description of many birds. Well done, simple illustration style, but there and we learn some interesting facts about those birds. A good one!

What started very well with a young boy who doesn't want to go to sleep, a subject most parents and kids can rely on, and then it focus way too much on a sheep all become meaningless. Too bad...

A book about being small, the downside and upside to it and learning to accept our self the way we are. The message is good, but not that intense either. The illustration are a bit too «pastel» tones for my liking but their still pretty. A slightly above average one!
