Standard story for kid. A bit funny, but no moral of value in it. A bit light for my taste but no bad in anyway!

Je ne suis peut-être pas aussi enthousiasme que la majorité envers ce livre. Oui c'est bien, de beau souvenir de jeunesse, surtout pour ceux qui ont grandi vers la fin des années 80 ou le début des années 90 et une belle représentation de l'amitié. De belles allusions culturelles (la fameuse cassette dans laquelle il fallait souffler et l’émission Les Zigotos, furent mes deux préférés), mais au-delà de ça, j'ai trouvé ce livre, peut-être trop court, peu abouti, manque un peu de substance, de densité, pour réellement créer quelque chose. C'est bien, loin d'être mauvais, mais je m'attendais à tellement plus!!

Afer a strong and intriguing start, this book rapidely fell into everything and nothing. It's fast pace, but too much happen, too fast, without taking the time to living it. Feel almost like a resume then a comic in itself. There's also too much clichés for me and it bring it down. I didn't like it!t

Maybe not that great, but definetely a very original one, in its story as well as in its illustrations. We follow a page of a newspapers who goes around true its life, with its though and feeling. I like it and really appreciate its originality!!

I really don't understand how everyone seem so fund of this book! The main character is really full of himself, and the writing... always describing something, it's really break the action everytime. It's sad because the universe seem interesting, but I don't like reading the description of a leather jacket and sunglasses for half a page, then describing how big and dangerous the monster his, but that the main character is not afraid, because... of course, he has face much worst... Just show me the action, make a story and stop talking an describing everything. It was really the writing that had turn me off!!

A little book for child, that bring the importance of taking a bath. Always with this type of book you can use it to show your kid why it's important to wash themself. Not the better book on this «subject» ( I found La doudou qui ne sentait pas bon, de Claudia Larochelle, better in every aspect) but it's still an average book, that achieve is purpose in a simple way.

C'est un honneur et une grande surprise de réaliser que je suis le premier à partager mon appréciation de ce livre sur Goodreads! J'ai adoré! Un roman/livre dessiné ou peu importe son appellation, est d'une originalité incroyable et un très bel objet physique en plus. On est encore une fois dans la tête de cet auteur, mais un peu moin dans ses réflexions, dans certains délires par moment, mais surtout dans une sorte d'analyse du mond elittéraire/artistique. C'est très difficile de résumer ou d'expliquer ce livre qui est unique en son genre, mais je vais essayer de le fair ene bref. On y retrouve, des textes, des dessins, des réflexions personnelles, de l'humour et de courtes biographies de personnages célèbres (surtout des auteurs, mais pas uniquement). Je crois qu'il s'agit vraiment d'un hommâge à l'art sous ses diverses formes! Dany Laferrière est un grand auteur, un grand homme, qui accepte de prendre des risques et qui ne cesse de me suprendre! Bravo!

I said it many time, with the strengh and diversity of Marvel and DC in the super-heroes wolrd, you got to come really strong and original to present sometimes new and independant. This isn't the case here. A story we have seen many times, not strong enough characters and illustration that are again too average to make it come out. Not bad, but way too poor and not original enough to catch my interest and attention!

I really enjoy this book! I own a quite large house and in recent year, knowing that I won't have any children , I questionned myself a lot about selling it and moving to a more isolate and smaller house. The tiny house is a big step and I'm not really sure it's realistic with the Quebec winters temperature and all, but I have a big interest in the subject. This book present house in every way. Good pictures, the house plan, a range of price and the innovation they sometimes have. Again, really good, complexe, withe every information needed! If you want to buy/build or just like the idea of a tiny house, you should take a look at this one!!
