Slow start but still a decent start. I was really looking forward to see Blade and he comes at the really end, but we'll probably see more of him next time! I sure hope so!

The illustrations were awesome, beautiful and really «modern» in their style. Unfortunately the story itself was way too simple to gring something really interesting. I find it, not boring, but really close... Too bad.

Kind of a remake, at least for the first half, of the origin of creation by christianism, and then twist for the creation of a specific animal. Between spiritual and biological... I guest... Not really good in the content. I gave 2 stars, because the illustration were beautiful and original in their own style... but that's about all!

This was really good! I loved the originality of it, the voodoo culture in it and the action was great! Only disapointment, I got it on Netgalley as a review advance copy, and it look unfinish! Unfinish?!? Really, I know it's advance review but still, it supposed to be done. The issue 1 and 2 were alright but the third one had no color, no text and seem to lack a couple of pages, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't the real finish style the author and publisher wanted. If not, when the truly finished copy will be out, this is a very good new series that I would enjoy to follow.

Les éditions ADA semblent avoir appris de leurs erreurs. Après la controverse et l'enquête (toujours en cours) concernant Hansel et Gretel, la maison d'édition présente trois nous tomes des contes interdits. Ceci étant le premier de la série que je lis, ej vais attendre d'avoir lu les deux autres avant de trop m'avancer, mais en tout cas, dans celui-ci le ton est juste. On touche encore à la violence et à la sexualité (un peu plus que nécessaire à mon avis) et parfois, assez souvent en fait, les deux en mêmes temps, mais on ne dépasse pas la limite. Certaines scènes sont très intenses, une scène de viol collectif en autres, mais cela ne devient pas trop graphique, on en dit suffisament, mais pas trop. On s'assure également que les personnages impliqués sont majeures, on précise qu'une vicitme a d'ailleurs 18 ans tout juste, ce qui semble être une recommandation légale... Sinon, l'écriture est assez banale et l'histoire, sans être mauvaise est très clichés, manque un peu d'originalité et aborde les éléments du conte d'une mnaière très large. On ne va pas trop loin, mais on ne sort pas un excellent roman non plus. Je ne regrette pas de l'avoir lu, mais je ne me vois pas vraiment le recommander non plus.

Entertaining action comic that evolve, monster, dmeon and vampire. A bit too light/simple for my taste, the humor didn't really get to me, and I like this kind of story to be darker. So, not bad, give me a good reading time, but I won't continue on with this series.

Way too slow to start. The universe seem interesting in the end, but most of the story is just too casual, ordinary day to day. I was expecting way more fantasy in this volume.

Again not original enough, too much club chilling then action. The illustrations were good, but that wasn't enough to make me like this comic.

A beautiful children book about the impact of our word on other people. It can really help the kids understand how bad simple word can make someone feel and how it can destroy his confidence. Simple, but well done with a very strong message in it. A good book!
