I started reading this with my 11y/o and did not expect to actually enjoy it as much as I did.

I think 2½ is being super generous actually, and I'm not sure why so many people say it has diverse characters when (since Ivy and Nina were out of town) there was one WoC in the whole book and she was the villain. Not a good look. Not a good book.

I laughed until I choked. I discovered a bunch of new music. I cried tears of genuine emotional sadness. I got angry that my favourite album of 2016 wasn't featured (Apes of the State's This City Isn't Big Enough).

I definitely wouldn't recommend this to everyone, but I legitimately loved it.
