Wow, this was just weird and bad in a way that was not at all fun. 

A woman was "blond" on one page, another woman was "blonde" on the next. I understand it's a needlessly gendered word, but at least be consistent? 

There's not even anything wrong with this, but I was never able to get through more than a handful of pages at a time before losing interest. 

It's possible I will come back to this another time, but I just really can't hang with the writing style rn. 

Maybe the right book, but definitely the wrong time. 

Didn't care for the art so much and didn't feel like renewing when my library loan was due. 

I love splatterpunk. I love cosmic horror. I love weird shit. 

I did NOT love this. Disjointed and difficult to follow (in a bad way) and I found myself not caring enough to keep going. 

I have tried, like, six times to read this fuckin book bc it seems like EVERYONE loves it. I am officially giving up for good. Can't even bring myself to get past the halfway point so I can use it for Bingo. 

Sometimes I read something without quotation marks and it works so well I don't even notice. Others I am painfully aware of every missing one. This is the latter.
