A very heavy and emotional children’s book. This is not one that will fly off the shelves, but instead  be waiting for the special reader that needs this story to help them through a difficult situation or help them understand someone else’s path. 

Such an interesting book - a historical fiction wrapped into a ghostly tale. Started it as an audiobook, then for the final third I switched between audio and print. The attention to detail was excellent and shone a light on a war not written nearly as much as WWII. 

Enjoyable and interesting. I learned what an impressive career Ms. Bishop had before “Gilmore Girls” and appreciated how she shared her experiences as a working dancer and actor for over 40+ years. 

Definitely a fun and merry book, but lots of quick jumps made for a less than satisfying storyline. The first book of this trilogy was the strongest (although I was quite happy to not have to read “Rhiannon’s tits” over and over again in this book), but I am glad I got to read this during the Yule season. 

Melancholy romance! Very reflective. Not my favorite of this author’s, but I did enjoy the cozy Christmas vibe setting.
