Strange, sapphic, sci-fi-ish tale. I think I might have enjoyed it more if I had not already read Shark Heart — which actually has a somewhat similar storyline, but was expanded and was ultimately more satisfying than this particular book. Too many unanswered questions left behind for me.

Wow. Inspiring non-fiction to share that even during dark times in history, there ARE people doing the next right thing and making choices to improve humanity. 

I read this in two parts due to running out of time on the first library checkout. I definitely thought this was a happier story than The Knockout Queen (which still haunts me). Interesting storyline and use of both first and third person voices within the text. I enjoyed seeing Margo’s character grow and also her interactions with Jinx and JB. 

What a wonderful children’s book. It was beautifully narrated and while I see it is a series, it can also be a stand-alone tale of the beauty and pain of living and the classic tale of good vs. evil.

Slow and bland. I had hopes that this book would be a fun fall read, but it was too blah for me. 

Cute romance with a ghostly vibe, but low on the 🌶️🌶️ scale.
