Delightful audiobook with a fabulously fun narrator. Breezy, rom-com is a perfect fit for those readers who want romance in tge first love kind of setting.  Sweet, realistic and even though I predicted some of the storylines, I was not disappointed when they unfolded.

What a great book! I can see why it is a classic and those that find it are happy to have read it. What an epic adventure for elementary fantasy/medieval fans with animals - not so graphic/scary, although there is plenty of fighting and action. The audio version was excellent!

Oh, I love Inglewild and Lovelight Farms! This was the spiciest, but also very tender-hearted. Gotta love two people who are deeply vulnerable, but have an armor around themselves as protection.

Wow! To learn about the brainpower and tenacity of a woman cryptographer who worked in both World Wars and worked on monster cases in between was quite impressive. It always astounds me that I have never heard of so many people whose talents and jobs had a direct impact on the lives of so many.  This was kind of hard to listen to with so many names to keep track of and I am sure there were photos to show the rotor machines and some of the codes.

This was a bit tired in plot, and I wanted to smack Evie multiple times for her naiveté. I do want to know what happens, so I guess I will read (not listen) to the next installment so that I can skim over the less than well-written paragraphs.

Lighthearted holiday romance. I did not realize it was part of a series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. Definitely best enjoyed in front of a Christmas tree or by a fire for full effect.
