I started this book knowing only that it is regarded as one of Hemingway's best works. I guess he just isn't an author that I will be interested in... I had a really hard time saying focused on what was happening and I did not like the writing style. I found it very repetitive and pretty boring. The very end picked up as the action began, but it was a long time coming...
For the majority of the book, I really disliked the main character, Jeremy. He seemed like a total tool and I found him more annoying than anything else. Toward the end of the book, my dislike started to fade just as Lexie's interest in Jeremy started to pick up. There were a few cute moments and the ending was cute, so that made me glad that I read the book. But overall, I didn't find this to be a very exciting read.
Another re-read. I forgot how annoyed I get at Mr. Poe during this book! Phew.
Another re-read. This is one of my least favorite books of the series. I feel like the story had potential, but that it was rushed, and therefore cut short before it had the chance to become a good book.
In this issue, we pick up with two people pulling on ropes that are tied to Deadpool in order to set his bones so his healing factor can kick in properly. He's back in action soon, but his brain virus is messing with him and making his aim go off kilter. Then he goes to meet with an old man named Mr. Whittaker who gives him a job- to get The Rhino's horn. While Deadpool is in action, he keeps getting calls from Mr. Whittaker and his wife, who keep increasing his payout. The man wants the horn, and the woman doesn't want Deadpool to get the horn. Deadpool ends up taking a bunch of random gear from a trophy case to try to fight The Rhino but the only thing that works is Ant Man's canister- which shrinks The Rhino. Deadpool saws off his horn and then delivers it to Mr. Whittaker. Later, we see that Deadpool is keeping The Rhino for a while, waiting to see if the shrink gas wears off.
In this issue, Deadpool is in Japan trying to take out a member of a gang.

In this issue, we pick up with Deapool and The Punisher in a raft on the water. When the cops show up, they both swim away, but first The Punisher strips off his jacket and cuts Deadpool to make it look like the cops killed The Punisher when they were firing at them. Deadpool and the Punisher fight for a while. Meanwhile, Peter Gnucci (who had hired Deadpool to kill The Punisher) got a check from the bank because everyone believed The Punisher was dead. When the check blows away in the wind, Peter chases it but once he catches up to it, he get hit by a bus and thrown and impaled on the giant metal bull sculpture. During their fighting, Deadpool happens to hear this on the news and offers to stop fighting... The Punisher walks away.

In this issue, Deadpool approaches a young man to tell him that he will take out The Punisher for him so the man can get his inheritance that was left to him. In this issue, we pick up with the boy holding the gun to Deadpool's head. Deadpool gives three reasons why the boy wouldn't shoot him, but he was wrong. Luckily, there wasn't another bullet in the chamber. Later, Deadpool and the kid finally take out Maxy. With the money they collected, Deadpool gave the kid a new identity, bought the kid a plane ticket to England, paid his tuition at Oxford, gave him his share of the money. Deadpool wished the kid good luck as the kid walks away.
In this issue, Deadpool asks Patch for a job doing good things rather than bad. As Patch is pulling out a very empty and old file, a man in a purple cape (later you find out he is Deathtrap) walks in asking for someone to help save a princess. Of course Deadpool jumps on that one and the man in the cape and him get in a plane. Deathtrap attacks Deadpool and Deadpool must have been knocked out because he has quite an interesting dream about meeting the president and having April Fools Day renamed Deadpool day... He wakes up wearing a bonnet and bib, and is tied up. Deathtrap explains to Deapool that he found killing using normal techniques to be boring so he wanted to test out some new things- specifically lowering a three ton stuff bear down on top of Deadpool. Of course Deadpool has a plan, he gets one hand free and then tries to attack with a gun, he tries to teleport, and then he tries to use his sword...unfortunately for Deadpool, Al messed with some of his stuff to get back at him for buying a dog....
Meanwhile, Al is back at the house trying to get access to a room and talking to Weasel.
