An exceptional writer, with an obviously brilliant mind and capacity for self reflection.
Sharing a huge chunk of Stephanie Foo's traumas, I can tell you that this is THE book you need to read to understand all about CPTSD... And the people who carry that beast within.
No other words to say than "Incredible job. Well done, and thank you."

I'm a huge, huge fan and lover of the tv show. Therefore, and because everyone was recommending to read the book, I did just that.
Turns out I didn't love it. Liked it, for sure ; but that's it. I felt a lack of emotion from the main character, which makes sense, considering she's probably dissociating, what with all the trauma. Still, I was expecting more rage, more revolting, more feelings and such. Therefore, yes, it's a good book, but no, it didn't leave me satisfied.
Although, probs to the author for seeing the future of the United States, and bringing to the public's view the horrors of sexism and general misogyny.
Under Her Eye, we shall unite.

Wow. That's all I have to say. The author got them fucked up stalkers understood to perfection. For obvious reasons, I mean, she got one hellish specimen to handle.
This is the perfect book for whomever wants to understand what's going on in predator's minds. Highly recommend.

Currently doing a binge of John Marrs books, and got to say, I liked this one a lot ! Kudos on the originality of the subject, and the writing was nicer than the previous book of his that I read.

It was a very nice book, a good read, and I enjoyed it, until the (to be honest, predictable) very end. I don't have a lot to say, I'm already not the hugest fan of IA, we're living through the dark times that this book is denouncing, and this book comforted me in that line of thought.
The writing is good, though very "classic", in the sense that it's not out of the (nice) ordinary.
Recommend it, although it's not a book I'll read many times, as I do with some.
