I really struggled to connect with this bok because of how disconnected all the POV’s were. I understand where the autor was coming from, but i feel this was not executed as well as it could have been.
A Vow in Vengeance did not disappoint. The magic system and plot were so well thought out and explored fantastically elements i don’t often see in a book.
The way tarot was incorporated into and built off the plotline was absolutely amazing and i loved how it was used to bring the FMC and MMC together.
I also loved Rune’s character development throughout the story, how she slowly grew into herself and learnt who she could be.
This was an amazing novel and i hope to read the next one soon, thank you to netgalley and the author for giving me the chance to read this book.

(3.5 rounded up)
I really loved how well- written Feathers of Ash and Hope was.
The slow burn between Ara and Tate was amazing and really kept me wanting to keep reading. I also loved Ara’s personality and how she held onto her secrets so tightly for the sake of everyone around her.
I did, however, feel that this book related quite closely to fourth wing and found myself comparing the two books and their similarities at times. I feel the book had enough original ideas to have been presented quite nicely without the comparable characteristics, but, nonetheless, it was still a really good read.
Thank you so much to netgalley and the publisher for giving me the chance to read this book, all opinions are my own.
