This was a tough one for me to get through; however it was really good. It’s a great story with lots of familiar names if you remember reading the Odyssey. I was convinced it was going to be a 3 star rating until the end. The ending was my favorite part and worth the time it took me to get there.

For some reason I just can’t get behind this series. I love #maggiestiefvater but #theravenboys just don’t do it for me. I find these books bounce around a lot and I’m not always sure what is going on. I find myself having to read back to find where I missed information. I do like the characters and the main story line is interesting enough that I’ll finish the series to see what comes of it. Just not a favorite for me!

I really enjoyed this one and it was a quick read. However it was a slow burn which had me questioning things until about 50 pages to the end. That ending tho is so very emotional. I was bawling my eyes out and had to leave the bonus material for later. A good solid read to start off October! I recommend this to anyone wanting to try out thrillers. It’s one of my first and I want to try more now.
