I first picked this book up several years ago and sadly had to DNF. I just could not get into it at the time. However the second time around I actually found myself really enjoying it. I will probably never reread it like I do with favorites but I have every intention to continue with the series. It is an interesting take on the vampire fantasy.

This is a quick but good read. Great story and even though you get so little time with them you’ll fall in love with the characters. I find myself wanting to know more of the history from Fennbirn! I give this one 5/5⭐️ just wish it were longer.

I love getting more stories from Fennbirn! This wasn’t as good as the Oracle Queen but still a great bonus story. I gave it 4/5⭐️ for a Novella. I wish it took us a little closer to the queens’ 16th birthday but it’s good to read about when they were little. I feel so bad for Mirabella and how she was treated as a child. You would never see that part of her if you passed on this story. I look forward to more from #kendareblake!
