This was a really cute book. It’s definitely a great book for young readers at that awkward middle school age. I love the messages of friendship and kindness that this books sends. If you’re a fan of Groundhog Day then this is a cute teen version of that.
Loved this one! 5/5⭐️ I may or may not now have a slight obsession with the Salem Witch Trials. This was a great story involving the Salem descendants and an interesting curse. There are some twists and turns and some slightly predictable happenings. I love the main character Sam for how strong she is despite her crappy situation. Elijah made me smile and snicker with his slight humor. If you love witches, spirits, spooky stories, and a bit of romance give this one a try for sure! I am excited to see where author Adriana Mather goes with the next book Haunting In The Deep!
“...you are sunlight falling through trees. You are laughter that breaks through sadness. You are the breeze on a too-warm day. You are clarity in the midst of confusion.”
Let me start this by saying that I generally give a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews. I can’t help it. I love most of what I read and I want to recommend those books to everyone. With that said 5 stars does not even justify how amazing this book is. It’s honestly like 10/5 stars. Holy cow. The ending to America’s story is such a rollercoaster. I honestly didn’t know how it would end. And within the last 50 pages my heart broke and then there was such happiness and my heart would break again. I am exhausted in such a good way after that ending. I don’t think I’ve ever read an ending that still left me so heartbroken at the same time. This conclusion to The Selection is simply amazing.

This wasn’t quite what I was expecting but it was very good. I love Elliott and her attitude, she is such a relatable character to me. “I like to think of myself as an equal opportunity bitch” The snark and sarcasm makes this feel so real to me. And I love the banter between Elliott and her men. I’m not sure if I’ll ever reread but I’m for sure going to continue the series!
