Honestly for all the hype this book got I just wasn't feeling it. To me it did not seem that suspenseful compared to other thrillers I've read. It was not a page turner. That being said I think the concept and story were good. I began to guess the twist but it did manage to surprise me. Overall I was just a bit disappointed because of how much others rave about it. I probably won't recommend this to anyone any time soon.

Definitely not in line with the first three in the series. This follows Isabel and Cole and only gives mentions of the others. I love Isabel even more after reading this one. I just miss the characters from the first three. This could easily be just a YA contemporary romance as the wolves are not mentioned much and kind of feel like an after thought. Still a great read tho!

I love that this is a true story. You feel everything with the main character and just want her story to end well. The details are great and really brought me back to my summer camp days. I listened to audio with a full cast and really enjoyed it! I would like to check out the illustrations sometime as well.

I am still enjoying this series. Though this book makes me not like the relationship between Sookie and Bill. I think she deserves someone better and more like her. I did like the first in the series better, but I will keep reading because I do love the story and the characters. I would like to see more of Sam!

Not bad but not great, somewhere in the middle. I am invested enough to keep reading the series but I’m hoping I like the next better. I don’t completely understand the relationship between Mare and Kal in this one. So hot and cold. I wish there was a little more romance like we got peeks of in the first book. I’m also not sure I like who Mare is turning into. It does end on a cliffhanger which I like because it makes you more excited for the next book.
