Overall I really liked this book and I can’t wait for the next to come out so I can find out what happens! I did think it had a slow start and I struggled with actually picking it up and making it through the first half or so. However, it does pick up and ends up with quite a bit of action. I love the cliffhanger ending and I honestly have no clue what might happen.

I ended up really loving this one. It was pretty slow to start but def got better! I got a ton of Hunger Games vibes, so if you liked those then you should give this a try. I liked the characters and Darrow’s development was great.
Honestly though I felt like the first part was a completely different book. It wasn’t mentioned a ton and Darrow was just such a different character for the rest of the book.
I hope we see more of his relationship in the next one. There are a lot of things to tie up so I’m excited to read the next.
Also, I listened to the audio and am so glad! The way they did the song made me so emotional!

I’m very conflicted with my feelings about this book. I really did enjoy it and it’s a really good story that kept me turning pages. I wasn’t expecting some things and I am interested in reading the next in the series. However, I did have an issue with the unhealthy relationship that is glamorized in this story. It makes for a good book in the same way it would make good television, but I don’t think it’s the kind of relationship that people should fantasize about.

I really loved this one. The main character reminds me of myself with her need for planning and organization. I love how she is able to let loose and get away from some of the stress of everyday life. This story makes me want to go pack my bags and run off to the mountains. It has a great summer vibe and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a good poolside book!

This was an amazing read. I listened to the audio and could not pause it! I am by no means an expert in super heroes or the DC universe so I was a little bit confused about how this story fits in with the Wonder Woman movie. However that may have given me an advantage because I don't have much else to compare it to. I think the story is amazing, it is action packed and left me with all the feels. I am very much a series person so I wish we had another book to read to get more of Diana.

Such an amazing book! I love the idea of all these different worlds where kids can find a place to fit in. I also enjoy how they portray death as something that isn’t so scary. I am looking forward to finishing this series! I only wish that the books were longer.
