Tessa Bailey are you fucking KIDDING me with this one!!!!!!!!!! HLS was even better than the first one. it was definitely more of a slow burn than Piper and Brendan’s love story. so much tension in this book SO MUCH like i was so frustrated and anxious throughout this book but in a good way. i damn near fucking cried a few times. i can relate to Piper a little in certain situations, but Hannah is my freaking twin. we’re exactly the same. every single second of my life happens with a soundtrack in the back of my head. i even have playlists for how every book i read sounds like in my brain. i’m never not thinking about music. thank you so fucking much for writing this book like i don’t think i could’ve lived having not known and felt and heard Fox and Hannah’s beautiful love.

this fucking blew me away oh my god. i couldn’t put it down. i was a little skeptical of it at first when i found out what happened between anil and jana in the past but whew was i wrong!!!!!!!
i also don’t love stories about single parents or that center around kids but imani was ADORABLE and made it that much more enjoyable. i didn’t realize there is a book that precedes this one so i’ve got to read that one soon. this is definitely going to be on my favorites list for the year!!!!!
