this was lame. it was boring and felt like it was trying to be more profound than it was. i saw the ending coming from like 1000 miles away. it didn’t make sense to me that the author would want us to root for marcos when he literally was keeping a human slave and raping her lol.

the relationship marcos has w his sister was entertaining so that’s why it got 2 stars.

THIS WAS SO CUTE!!!!!! this was my first cowboy romance and i LOVED it omg i cannot wait for Wes’s book

okay wait i wasn’t a big fan of how much they both stuttered in certain scenes

I was so excited by the premise of this. I love romances between two people who knew each other when they were kids. Plus the idea that they've been dating carbon copies of each other despite their mutual 'hatred' is so funny and unique that I couldn't resist picking this up.

Unfortunately, some of the execution fell through. I enjoyed reading this but didn't find myself rooting for the couple as much as I should have. One of the fights went a bit too far, in my opinion, and I personally would not have been able to move past some of the things that were said.

However, I love Meredith Schorr's writing style, and I'll definitely read more by her in the future. This one just fell a bit short for me.
