paul had a personality transplant between the two books. there was no angst. i expected some serious yearning but they got together like immediately. this had sooo much potential and yet..
i really thought this was gonna be the one but alas it was not. how the fuck are you gonna write a romance book and the worst part of it is the romance….. i did not want the mcs to end up together. they were both so awful to each other like some of that shit jesse said was UNFORGIVABLE!!!!!!! even if you’re mad you can’t just say whatever the fuck you want to someone you supposedly “””love””” like gtfo of my face bro go fuck yourself
yourreeeee joookkkinggggg this was so god damn cute. meg cabot completely nailed the ramblings of a teenage girl. i laughed out loud several times. this was a fucking blast i can’t believe i’ve never read these!!!! not even when i was young

This book is a millennial's wet dream.
I was so excited to read this, I mean just look at the cover, but I was so very disappointed. It was sweet, sure, but I couldn't get over the cringey humor. I wasn't invested in the plot whatsoever and kept zoning out and dozing off as I was reading it. I can definitely see why people like this book, but it just wasn't for me.
I'm not going to say anything else because it would just be rude and not helpful at all.
Thank you, NetGalley and Griffin for the advanced copy.
