i knew this was gonna be cringey going into it but i thought the premise would be fun. and it was fun. but they “fell in love” w each other in a week like that’s so stupid to me and it wasn’t even really believable especially for 2 sophomores in college like ?? some of the shit they were describing as “love” was literally just like initial attraction i did not get it
idk why people are saying there’s no plot bc i actually enjoyed the story itself even if it was overshadowed by …other things
this book is sweet if you can make it past the mindnumbingly boring first 25% of it

i fucking HAAAAAATEEEE HATE HATE HATE the miscommunication trope. also the fmc just wasn’t really my cup of tea, but the mmc was hot and silent like i love a man that just does not talk. first one was better, looking forward to the third.
this was a blast to read. so sweet and engaging i had a hard time putting it down. and it never really felt like it was dragging.
personally i hate when i read about characters that are dancers bc i get such bad second hand embarrassment reading about them like freestyle dancing. idk i just never find it sexy or empowering like it’s supposed to come across. that’s really the only reason why it’s not 5 stars for me.
this was exactly the kind of book i needed to read rn.

3.5 stars.
punk 57 was definitely better and i don’t think the same kind of dramatic irony fit into this story. i wish there was more of a sudden declaration that took me off guard rather than making it so painfully obvious for so long. i also felt like there wasn’t enough groveling?? like she was like oh okay that makes sense i love you too! idk
but it was a good story overall and i was engaged the whole time
