3.5 stars. i adored this book and story, but i just don’t think the two main characters should’ve ended up together. i didn’t see enough positive chemistry in the half of the book that took place in the past to warrant the kind of pining and certainty that they were meant to be. it just wasn’t something i could realistically believe.

i love beth o’leary’s writing style. i will always read any book of hers, but this one just didn’t do it for me

this was a solid 4 star story but i had to pay 9 of my hard earned dollars to read a book that very clearly had not been edited. formatting was all over the place, misspelled words, poor grammar, inconsistent tenses, it was just a mess. i wouldn’t have cared as much if it was on KU but $9 is too much money for this.

also they broke up too much at the end and i felt like the author was so obsessed with mentioning how skinny juliette and adeline are

delilah green won the idgaf war

4.5 stars. honestly i liked delilah’s character arc more than i cared for her relationship with claire. i was not a fan of claire idk she just rubbed me the wrong way. loved ruby she’s queen, so psyched for astrid’s book and DYING for iris’s, and josh’s redemption arc made me so happy like i was rooting for him the whole time.

finished this with 18 minutes left until it was due

no clue why this is named seeing double other than the fact he wears glasses. there was just too much going on and there wasn’t enough character/relationship development. love levi so much though
