Thanks to GCP and Forever for the copy of this book!

Khalia Moreau's debut is such an innovative idea: two sisters trapped apart from each other, one in the contemporary world and one in a parallel fantasy world. The story is told in alternating POVs between the sisters, and walking through scenes from both of their POVs is fascinating becasue their realities are so different! There are lots of magical creatures included in this book and a dark prince. Note there's a sexual assault trigger warning.

Deceased.

Thanks to Putnam for the copy of this book!

Falon Ballard takes on a more emotional celebrity, second chance romance in Right in Cue, and it’s a delight. It was way too easy to binge most of this book in one sitting - Emmy and Grayson are an easy couple to cheer for, and the side characters are just lovely. My favorite part of this is the way Emmy and Grayson built each other up when they were struggling with feelings of being insignificant or inadequate. They balanced each other so, so well.

Read if you:
- aren’t too old to need your mom
- have or want a partner who makes you feel capable
- sometimes get caught up in the emotions of a situation
- enjoy celebrity romance, coworkers with benefits, or second chance romance tropes

The one with all the good tropes
