Amy Poehler is an incredible woman. To say she is funny is an understatement. She is honest and open about everything she's gone through and she loves to call her past self out for stupid shit she did. I have loved her since I first watched her on parks and rec and when I finally got this book I was so excited to read it. I knew I would love it. I actually listened to it on audiobook and it was definitely a different experience, probably a better one, than just reading it from the physical book. I definitely want to read the physical book though because I know there are lots of photos and extra things in there that I missed out on from listening to it. It was my first audiobook ever and I really enjoyed it. Have I mentioned how much I love Amy Poehler?
I had a tiny inkling about how this book was going to turn out. Low and behold. I didn't expect anything less than extraordinary greatness from this book and it honestly surpassed that. Incredible. There are so many relatable aspects of this book and it's characters that I didn't expect and that I greatly enjoyed. I loved Nicola Yoon's writing style; definitely something I can get behind. It was just so easy to read and I never wanted to stop! I honestly think I could read this book again and again. It was so heartwarming and the message was great. I'd give this book 100 stars if I could.
