Okay, so prior to reading this trilogy I'd heard so many terrible things regarding the ending (minus spoilers), just that it sucked. And I agree. I sobbed buckets for at least ten minutes after what happened (yeah you know what happened), happened and then again for a few more after actually finishing. But also, I think the ending was kind of a good one in a weird way. It was different, sad, heart wrenching, but different. I'll admit this book was the least enjoyable for me out of the three, I felt it lacked the pull the other two had especially after the big reveal of what was beyond the fence. However, as a whole I really enjoyed these books. I can definitely say some of my favorite YA supporting characters lie within these novels *cough* Uriah. The trilogy as a whole earns a 7/10 stars from me.
