This was not as exciting as I thought but I found all the historical details very interesting, especially because I'm very much intrigued by this subject. Some things could have been easily cut away and get the same result, but the ending was really good.

I don't usually read that much fantasy, but this was pretty good. Definitely not a bad purchase.

This is one of the few horror books that actually made me not to want to put it out of my hands. Psychological horror, which I love.

Passed the time, nothing more. I wouldn't exactly consider this as a great life changing romance novel. Basic contemporary light fluff.

I hope you don't think I'm a snob but I don't think I have patience for books like these ever again. Pilcher obviously wanted to make the reader think about the morality of the characters but in my opinion it wasn't executed very successfully. The story was boring, I felt like laughing in some of the dialogues and the descriptions seemed very much glued on. The gap between this and my favourite novels is huge so this certainly wasn't my cup of tea.

Beautiful descriptions and finally a woman in the main focus. Pandora is intelligent, strong and passionate woman who's love story with Marius is tainted with sadness. What comes to the plot, it's not as interesting as the first two ones but as a single book Pandora is yet again very compelling to me.

Tedious and flat. I understand its a folktale but does it mean you're not required to write it well?

At times a fairly exciting story but not enough to make it a page turner for me. Everything was predictable starting from the first 200 pages continuing to the last 400 ones. Secret service conspiracies were dry and the writing not so captivating. Would recommend this as a summer read if it wasn't so long.

Very useful for making art.
