I haven't opened this for several months, so the count has to move to the to-read shelf for now. I haven't given up, though, because I actually love the story more than the first time. I'd just rather continue reading every once in a while with the book on my nightstand instead of letting it rot on my main page. Way too distracting when it's constantly reminding me how slow I am. I'm more drawn to other classics at the moment anyway.
Although I didn't feel entirely bored while reading I think I had another kind of idea what the book would be. Maybe my expectations were too high. I did, however, find the voices of different characters very pleasing. The way their testimonies were written revealed their personality really well and it was impossible to get mixed up. The build up of the plot was also interesting yet not very surprising.
Not exactly my cup of tea. I did like the ending but don't believe Nora could stay forever away. She's just too naive and stupid for that.
