F/F agent ennemies to lovers told mostly through the letters they write to each other. Yes yes yes. Nice.
Now.. It did take me a while to get into it and to get used to the writing style. I found it pretty in the end but if I'm honest? Not 100% sure I'll remember much about this book in a couple of months time... And I hate saying that cause I wanted to love it.

3.5 ~Very sweet short book about a girl coming to terms with her crush on another girl.
Wasn't quite sure why it was written in verse. It felt like it wanted to be told in regular book narration but.. Nah.
Anyways, Stevie is adorable and of course the message is the best.
I hope young readers will be pulled towards it. To discover verse and to discover all kinds of crushes.

I enjoyed this. Most of the characters are likeable, some loveable. But I wish there was more development to the relationship AND to Ari's sudden change of desires.

3.5 ~ It took a while to get into, and i almost stopped concentrating on the story, multiple times.
But once it started to get going, it got really quite interesting. The chilling ambiance and feeling of loosing your mind really worked well in this format.
I could easily see this on a big screen, too.

Je pense que ce livre a du mal à trouver son audience vu la complexité de certains messages et la banalité des autres.
Bien sûr, les autrices le rappellent très bien à la fin du livre : elles ne peuvent pas tout représenter et exposer.
Mais les paroles évoquées suffisent à provoquer les discussions comme elles l'ont voulu.
A voir si ça suffit à engendrer les bonnes discussions.

Following these characters over years while they grow and come into themselves, fully, really, who they're meant to be. It was beautiful. I loved how they loved each other. They are meant for each other. They work so well together! My looooves.
Of course, the trans rep felt so real, so complete, so good! Meredith Russo really writes some of the best trans stories out there (#ownvoices). But it was great to see that Morgan wasn't the only character that was well developed. Eric's character growth is very touching too.
I recommend to all!!

Il est simple mais à la fois compliqué. Il est beau. Il est chaleureux.
Découvrir les secrets de l'univers est une mission toujours en cours pour moi. Oh que le monde est mystérieux. Mais ça ne veut pas dire qu'il n'est pas beau.

Il n'y a rien de mauvais à dire à propos de ce livre.
J'adore les personnages. J'adore le fait que les relations familiales soient importantes. J'adore Dante et je comprends Ari tellement bien. C'est incroyable à quel point un livre peut se transformer en miroir, ou en fenêtre ouverte sur soi, une révélation, un livre qui semble avoir été écrit par quelqu'un qui vous comprends.
Benjamin Alire Saenz n'a pas cherché à faire plus que raconter l'histoire d'une découverte de soi, de relations familiales et de relations avec autrui, et je l'adore.
Je l'adore.

It is simple but complicated at the same time. It's beautiful. It's heart-warming.
Discovering the secrets of the universe is still a process I'm going through myself. The world is a strange place, but that doesn't mean it isn't beautiful.

I can't say anything bad about this book.
I love the characters. I love the family relationships. I love Dante and I get Ari. Sometimes books are like mirrors or like a window that opens up on yourself, like a revelation, like it has been written just for you.
Benjamin Alire Saenz wasn't trying to do more than tell a story of self-discovery, or family and friends relationships, and I love it.
I love it.
