⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

I thought this book was very entertaining. Grady Hendrix has a way of telling a story that is very entertaining and keeps you from putting it down. I was very annoyed with the MC while reading but I enjoyed the story. Mainly the slasher film references.

I read this book in one sitting. I had to figure out what was going on. It didn’t take until i was 200 pages in for things to finally click. The twist was good and I really had no idea where it was going.

I really enjoyed this book. I read this while vacationing in Italy because I wanted a book set in Italy. The main protagonist, Katy, was very upset about her mother dying and is basically lost. I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about her character and it’s obvious that these people have never met anyone who’s extremely dependent on their parent even as an adult. I know someone who doesn’t make a decision without consulting their mom so I was able to empathize with Katy’s predicament. She is 27 in the book but she definitely acts a lot younger and it’s because she never knew herself or made any decision on her own.

2.5 ⭐️ the only thing I liked about the book were the creepy ghost parts especially the ending. The idea of seeing ghosts because you’re on drugs just didn’t appeal to me.

I read this book in one sitting! It took me less than 4 hours to devour this book. If you are a fan of From Blood and Ash then pick up this book rn! I also really enjoyed the FMC. Her character took no bs from anyone and it was great to read about a character who didn’t back down. The book was fast-paced and my only complaint is more world building but I think we are slowly getting introduced to the world.

This was an action packed book and it was crazy! There’s something about books where you get to see what your other life could have been that I love.

This just wasn’t for me. I ended up skimming it.
