This is my first real audiobook experience and though it took me a little to finish due to personal matters I look forward to listening to more audiobooks, but also reading more of Alyssa Cole's work. The stories she tells are magnificent and hold nothing back. Fully encompassing you in the experience these characters go through. And the narrator? Beyond talented! Her voice was captivating. While I loved all the stories my favorite was definitely Let Us Dream and though the narrator did an absolutely fantastic job on all the stories I'd say her reading during that one was my favorite too.
A delightful read
This was my first book by the author which I came across on a recommendation list for romances to read during June for Pride. Obviously I'm a little behind as June has come and gone, but I'm so happy to have picked up this book. The characters were delightful and the HEA wonderfully endearing. I'll definitely be recommending this book to friends and checking out more books by the author.

First, I am really glad I chose to try listening to the audiobook after having difficulty with the ebook. Otherwise I might have just DNF'ed this book which would've been regrettable as it turned out to be a pretty enjoyable one. Second, while this is certainly a sweet read it's also a bit. . . sad and dark too. It's not a light read like one might think. The story is interesting though and the description in the book is really vividly done as far as setting, characters, the baking(omg but it'll make you hungry lol). The narrator does a really good job reading and her voices are decent enough though take a little to get used to at first for the guys. Beyond that my only suggestion is: if you've dealt with issues of domestic violence, pregnancy difficulties, or child loss I'd recommend not going into without being aware that sensitive matters relating to them do arise.
