I can definitely see myself liking this book at another time when I'm in a certain mood for this kind of story. While I never read Daisy Jones & The Six, I watched the TV series, and I see why people compared the two. I just wish I had watched more reviews before picking it up so I'd have been more prepared and adjusted my expectations.
This was far from the epic love story I expected, and I could not get past it. I'll try again in the future.

This is the third romance book I'm DNFing this month, I don't know what is wrong with me tbh. Might try again at another time.
I'm currently in a major slump and I know this book is not gonna help getting out of it. I wanted to try it for the podcast/bookclub I'm following but I'm just not feeling it. I might try it again in the future because it does complete some of my yearly reading challenges.
Not feeling it right now. If it wasn't a duology I might have DNFed the series right away, but since I only have this book left I might try again in the future.
While I can see myself enjoying this book if I picked it up at another time, right now I'm just not vibing with this writing style. The number of times I got lost on side tangents and forgot what brought that anecdote is ridiculous.
I struggled a lot with the magic system. It went to such a bigger scale compared to the first and second book that at this point I had more questions than it was possible for the author to explain without compromising the story and it kept taking me out of it.
Characters were never ones I deeply cared about, so when all of it adds up I just had the urge to DNF the whole 37% I read. I was resisting because it's a conclusion to a series but I just could not care less and it alredy made me slump for 2 weeks so I'll just stop now.

Will continue later in the year, just not feeling the slow paced story at the moment.
