This was one of those series where the sequel actually held up. Thank goodness. I loved this book almost as much as the first one. Unfortunately, I didn't have the third book immediately handy, so I found myself wanting to hold off on finishing. I put off reading it because I didn't want to get stuck with a cliffhanger. And while I do want to read the third one pretty badly, I have to say that the way it ended didn't royally frustrate me. Thank goodness again. I'm very impressed by Veronica Roth's writing. I'm really hoping that the wrap up of this series doesn't disappoint because the first two have set the bar nice and high.

Super quick read and this time I have the next in the series waiting in the wings. Thank goodness! I wanted to finish this one so badly that I kept pushing myself to stay awake for just a little bit more.

I loved this book. I would read it over and over again. I had seen the movie a few years ago, not knowing it was based on a novel. I was nervous at first that having seen the movie would ruin my experience with the book. I quickly found that that was not going to be the case. I love these characters and I love the story line. I didn't want the book to end.

I really liked this one. It borders on YA/Adult fiction. I more or less fell in love with the characters. It had a sort of Ya-Ya Sisterhood feel to it. (Full review to come.)

I have an undying love for all things Alice. That's what made me pick this book. I'm so glad I did. It was wonderful. I will say, it dives right in and goes full-on straight to crazy. It's different, but I liked it. I like that it's written in first person and in the present tense. It makes the story more powerful and gives it a very unique feel. I loved Alice so much. It was hard to see her suffer with her illness and there were times I wanted to hug her, to shake her into sense, to even throw my hands in the air and walk away from her. I found myself very emotionally attached to her. I think I've found a new author to love.

Love, love, LOVE this one! Perfect ending for the series...very Ruby appropriate. I just want to hug this book.

I kind of loved this one. It's one of those books I just want to hug. YA fiction at it's finest. There were several spots where I could totally identify. It was like a mini-high school refresher, painful at times but mostly comfortably nostalgic. Without a doubt I will be looking to read more from E. Lockhart.

This book seriously blew me out of the water. It is very rare for me to like a sequel more than the original, but this book totally did it. I was hooked from the very beginning. I couldn't take it in fast enough. Stieg Larsson was a magician with words. The plot is so well written you'd swear that he was writing based on a true story. The detail is magnificent and characters are phenomenal. The best thing about this book? It's keeps you guessing. I love the fact that he keeps the mystery from beginning to end. This is a book that I will read over and over. I loved the first book as well and I'm hoping that the third in the trilogy continues the success. I'm terribly impressed thus far.

I couldn't wait to get back to this book every time I had to put it down. The topic is dark, but it is so well done that I just loved it. Highly recommended.
