this was fine. I don't really think anything will ever recapture the magic of the first one. I understand that anne needs to grow up but personally I don't really care and I wish Montgomery stretched out Anne's school days out a bit longer (although I have no idea if it was ever her intention to continue the series and I love the first one as is, I just wish we could have gottenore kid Anne). I wasn't that invested any of the sideplots and I though davy was annoying and dora underdeveloped. marilla continues to slay and I wish diana was there a bit more. love Jane and ruby. loved the lavender plotline into she went and got married 😭😭 was cute but I loved the idea of a "old maid" being HAPPY that way (ig marilla but whatever). and I also noticed that in the anne with an E show they gave lavendar's plotline to marilla! interesting but I don't like that choice. ultimately this was quite forgettable tbh but I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy the new one with anne in college!! 3.5 stars 

 werkkk loved banter!!!! more low stakes NOVELLAS from mr riordan (looking at you wrath of the triple goddess...). this was funny and slay and I really like how rick riordan combined these series! I still think the link was really smart! obviously gotta love a percy pov book and I loveeee him and sadie as a pair! definitely the best of these crossover books! 4 stars :) p.s. get fucked aishwarya look I enjoyed this one!!!!
