Really fun adventure, I had a great time with this one! I found a lot of things to be overly convenient, and a little dramatic at times, but other than that this was a solid read

This was… not great tbh

I liked the magic, the world was cool, the lore was interesting, the plot was decent (although everything was super convenient and over the top on the dramatics). But the romance really killed it for me. It was awkward and dramatic, with a completely unnecessary love triangle thrown in for good measure. And it took up so much of this book! This could have been a great book with a fun adventure if not for all of that

This was genuinely terrifying, I couldn’t put it down! Super eerie, building dread from page one. This book gets right into the action and doesn’t stop until the very end
