This was just ok. It was fun and enjoyable for the most part, I liked the humour and the family element to it. But overall it just didn’t stick out to me whatsoever. This is yet another romance novel where the conflict made absolutely no sense to me, and had me rolling my eyes going “really? That’s what you’re breaking up over? Ok
3.5⭐️
Parallel Universe Me Has No Scars is a collection of poetry told in four sections, each poem depicting a moment of intense emotion. I really enjoyed reading this! It felt like stepping into someone’s mind, and hearing their every thought throughout the day(s). I’m fascinated by the way different people think, everyone’s individual internal dialogue and how it may differ from what mine sounds like. Reading this collection of poetry felt like that and it was a really interesting read! I love how honest the author is; he is unapologetic and doesn’t hold back, qualities I wish more people would have.
Thank you so much to Matthew Stegman for sending this collection my way!

This is either a very low 4 star, or a 3.5 star, not quite sure.
This was a lot of fun! I loved the setting the most, I've never wanted to go to a ren fair more in my life than I do right now. Ugh I hope I get to go one day. It was such a cute and interesting concept for a romance novel, I loved the difference in dynamic between the main couple during the times they were in character versus out. I thought that was a really interesting part of the story and I very much enjoyed that. I also loved the banter between the couple, although I do wish there was a bit more it; sometimes it felt like things were moving a bit too quickly, or like the couple didn't actually know each other that well before they were saying they loved each other. So I wish we'd gotten to see them getting to know each other just a little bit more. Otherwise though, this was really enjoyable. I especially liked the conflict at the end, for once I thought it was actually a believable reason for conflict. It was realistic and it didn't feel like an overreaction. The conflict portion of a romance novel is always my least favourite part, and it was definitely my least favourite part of this book, but I didn't dislike that part at least, and it was over pretty quickly.
Overall, I really liked this book even though it wasn't perfect. I'll absolutely be adding the second one to my TBR

A cute and quick read, but ultimately the plot was extremely predictable and not all that interesting. It may just be that the target audience is s little bit too young for my personal tastes; I usually love middle grade but this felt like it was written for... whatever is a step below middle grade, I can’t think of the word
Rafe A Buff Male Nanny: ★★★★
Xeni:
This was so much fun! I’m still new to the romance genre, and previously I’d only read the rom-com type of romance novels. I didn’t really know what to expect going into this but I had a great time reading it. This is pretty much just a wet dream for a lot of (straight) pushing middle aged women, where absolutely everything is happiness and orgasms for the rest of her life, and I’m so here for that lol. Is Rafe’s level of perfection unrealistic? Absolutely. But that’s exactly why I loved this so much. It was so ridiculously over the top perfect that it made it really fun to read. I totally get the appeal of these books and can’t wait to dive into more of them!

I love these books because of how ridiculous and outlandish they are, but this one was just a little bit too much
I was not expecting to fly through this so fast! I should have been expecting it since the exact same thing happened with both of the other Brown Sisters books last year, but here we are
Another fantastic instalment in the Bromance Book Club series!
One thing that I really appreciate with Lyssa Kay Adams is that the romantic conflicts between the couples don't make me want to rip my hair out in frustration. I love romance, but too frequently the conflict is ridiculous and could have been easily avoided. But with Adams, the conflict is always understandable and I just really love that!
I loved how complicated this one was as well; it had a lot of elements going on both within the romance as well as in their individual lives. At first, when all these elements were being introduced, I was worried that it was going to be too much going on at once. But it ended up being balanced really nicely, and everything tied together towards the end and made sense
As with the other books, the best part of the series is the friendship between the guys in the Bromance Book Club. I love hearing how they interact with other, and see how the side characters have progressed in each book. It makes the cast feel very full and well thought out, and I just love them so much! They're hilarious together, but also so supportive, caring, and know when some tough love is needed. I especially loved the themes of body autonomy on this one, as well as discussions and displays of active consent!
Overall, this was such a fun book in an incredible series, and I can't wait to get to book four!

This was so close to a 4 star with CAWPILE, so I guess it’s more like a 3.5?
This wasn’t as bad as I was expecting it to be, to be honest! I was expected for Lazlo’s character to be completely irredeemable for me after the second half of Strange the Dreamer, and while I still don’t feel as much love for him as I did when we first met him, his character didn’t completely explode at least. I would still have much preferred for the end of the first book to be a bit different, but I’m not mad about where the sequel went!
I LOVE that Muse of Nightmares turned this world into a portal fantasy!! If you know me at all, you’ll know that portal fantasy is 100% my shit! Imagine my scream of delight when I realized the direction it was going! Honestly that’s probably the reason my rating got bumped up half a star lol. The world is absolutely the best part of this series, it’s so beautifully written and I really hope Laini Taylor does end up writing more in it! I would love to see what happened to the main characters after the end of this book, but I would also love just random stories about completely unrelated characters from different worlds. There’s so much she could do here and I can’t wait to see where she goes with it!
