This book hurt the most out of all three so far. I won’t comment the emotional frenzy the ending caused me, or how I can’t possibly recover till the next book comes out. There’s just too much to talk about this book. Definitely my favourite one so far in the series. Xaden has my heart and it really broke during this book, hope it will be put together in the next one. All the characters felt a lot more real in this book and everything pretty much felt more realistic, I don’t know why though. I do think a few parts of the book and plots were slightly dragged out but ultimately they made for a great fantasy adventure. The romance was there, the mystery was there, the action was there, Ridoc’s humour was there, and obviously the sadness was there as well.

Reread it, so that I can read the rest of the series, and this time I must say that I'm a bit unsure about Adam but Kenji has 100% grown on me.

It’s been ages since I read the last book, don’t know why I left this series but after finishing Onyx Storm and feeling down this book brought me so much joy, either squealing at the cuteness in this book or laughing at Kenji, I really enjoyed it for what it is. A fun, not so serious super YA little dystopian read. Was I mid blown? No, but that’s not the point, the point is ,it was fun, and made me smile after Onyx Storm ripped my heart out and for that I’ll thank Aaron and Kenji, they both got my heart.

Also I’m so confused, I read the acknowledgments and in the end she says this is the final instalment…I know there’s more books in this series, so I’m slightly scared to read the next ones and them not being about Juliet and…. Cause I’ve pretty much stayed clear of any spoilers so now I’m kinda scared.

So far this book is the worst in the series which honestly is so sad for me cause potential wise this book should have been even better than ignite me. Instead I spent most of the book completely over Juliette and her insufferable stupidity, and naïveté and everyone else’s lack of judgement at letting a 17 year old that spent most of her life locked up to lead a whole continent with literally no knowledge of anything whatsoever. Aaron and Kenji once again carried the book, if not for them I’d definitely would have DNF’d it cause why is the only scene I found Juliette likable was when she was drunk. The ending wasn’t completely bad, though I’d pretty much had guessed the plot twist. I’m already this deep into this series so for me at this point I’ll might as well try and continue and hope it gets better. I don’t know why but this book felt like it was written by another person, the writing was completely different, the humour not there compared to the other books and everything that made Ignite Me the best book so far, was nowhere to be seen in this book. Still slightly shocked by the ending though….some things were surprisingly hard to expect.

How is it that this little novella is so much better than Restore Me. It was fun a cute little quick read that felt surprisingly light even though it’s just Kenji’s POV of the last few chapters of Restore me. But it manages to surpass it which I think it’s just because I didn’t have to read from Juliette’s insufferable POV.

Well I decided to check out Rina Kent’s books, since I keep seeing them everywhere but this book didn’t really do it for me. It was filled with clichés and every character was stereotyped and put into a box, which they managed to escape only at the end. What mainly annoyed me was how expected and foreseeable every plot line was. There wasn’t really that much deeper exploration of the MC trauma and how that actually influenced their behaviours now. Overall it felt like a one-dimensional romance which leaves you not really caring deeply about any of the MCs.

I just spontaneously decided to read this book which was well hidden in my TBR, and I’m so glad I did. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The themes of the book were interesting and leaned into the plot which made everything all the more believable. The MC’s character growth was just nicely balanced throughout the book and incredibly obvious when you reach the last page of it. Other than the whole GK situation that literally had me so frustrated and annoyed, like it could have all been so easily avoided

This book had me hooked from the first few chapters. I was genuinely curious as to how the author would fill up such a big book for a romance, so as for it not to feel slow-paced or boring and I was pleasantly surprised. The characters are definitely the highlight for this book series. They have such liveliness and enchanting qualities about them that you have no choice but to be completely sucked in, in their lived and minds. The ending was something….is all I’ll say, it definitely has pushed me to read the next one, not that I was debating not to, but it will probably be my next read cause I’m absolutely reeling right now.

I got all the feels from finishing this book. Tears were spilled and laughs were shared. I loved everything about this book, its writing has a certain type of magic in pulling you in this story and making you invested in these characters as if they were real. I really can’t wait to read the rest of the books and I just hope in the future we get a Lizzie book. I feel like there’s definitely so much story behind her and I seem to relate to her so I can’t wait to see what else happens to these characters.
