This book managed to break me in a way I didn’t even know it was possible. When I say I was crying every 10 minutes, I’m not exaggerating. This love story honestly felt so meaningful in so many ways. That love isn’t always perfect of placed into boxes. Sometimes you can’t help but love someone and there’s nothing else you can do but love them. I was recommended a break after reading keeping 13 and I’m honestly so grateful I listened because it was absolutely necessary. You definitely need a clear mind from Shannon and Johnny’s story to read this one and fully appreciate it. Joey and Aoife honestly have my heart for life and I haven’t even read the second part of their story. P.S Emotional support is needed to get through this book.

Damn…I’m lost for words. Considering this is a huge book, I’m only going to say I wish it was longer. Definitely need therapy after reading this, and my pillows need changing from all the tears. I just wish we got to see more of Aoife and Joey finally having some happy moments cause during most of this book and the last it’s honestly just trauma…I just wanted to see them be happy together even for an extra chapter. As much as I love this world and its characters, I’m gonna take a break from this series for a bit before delving into Taming 7, since it focuses on another set of characters and they deserve all my attention rather than having me crying at every mention of Joey and Aoife…not that that didn’t happen in in this book with Shannon and Johnny, honestly that epilogue gave me life, I really needed it.
