Overall really good but the ending had so much build up with such a short and little reward. The ending ending was very idealized but what you’d want. However the relationships of some ppl (in general and in relation to the MC) felt very incomplete and I was hoping they’d be fleshed out more. I’m really hoping there’s more in this book universe than just the trilogy

Basically the same as the first which means it was fine. But it felt really rushed, especially at the end and not fully fleshed out while still somehow dragging on at points
Some stories were better than others :/ It was good but not as good as I was expecting unfortunately. The stories just didn’t grip me the whole time. Also some just weren’t horror/magical realism ENOUGH to be captivated- some just bummed me out in a un-fun way. overall I enjoyed it and will continue to read her work
It was just fine. Way too long at parts and felt kind of aimless- like I want even sure the author purpose for writing it was
Easy breezy cozy mystery. You know exactly what you’re gonna get out of the book which is pretty comforting when you’re in a reading slump or just need something super mindless and easy. If you liked the Arsenic and Adobo series, you’ll love this
