Okay? I truly don’t understand why people loved this so much? Maybe I need to sit with it more but it was not for me. However, for now….. extremely boring and reassured my dislike for ~Mentally Ill Woman~ Who Is Extremely Annoying™️ books. The tone of the writing was grating and I could not bring myself to care about any of the characters. It’s absolutely not a traditional “horror” book and I wish it had a bit more of that? I also thought the pacing needed serious help. The first 60% was so slow and then things sped up so much it gave me whiplash and pushed the overall themes of the book a bit too much to make it enjoyable to ~ponder the messages~

Points off for predictable characters and incorrectly thrown out mental illness but overall a really good paranormal-ish murder mystery
I mean, yea. Exactly what you’d expect and very T Kingfisher. Nothing exceptional or wonderfully written really but what you want when you need something to entertain you
