The story has an intriguing magic system where the hexes are stored on cards. The relationship between the fmc and mmc is covered in lies. There's a mix of the underground and high society. I overall enjoyed Garden of the Cursed and look forward to reading the sequel. Especially with the cliff hanger at the end.

I read the Shatter Me series years ago when it was just a trilogy. I decided it was time to continue on since there's more sequels but first a reread of the original trilogy. I loved Shatter Me just as much with the reread as I did the first time I read it. Kenji is still one of my favorite side characters to date.

Honestly I don't read much poetry which is kinda sad because I love poetry. Some of the poems spoke to me while others were huh.  I did overall enjoy this collection.

I read through Firefly Wedding so fast. I was not expecting it to be as dark as it was. I'm interested to see where the next volume goes with the way volume 1 ended.

I really wanted to love this book. I enjoyed the beginning, the middle was just meh, and the ending was action packed. I wasn't a big fan of the main character Vivian. That being said if this does turn out to be a series I'd be willing to give the sequel a shot.

The King's Beast series just gets better with each volume. In this volume Rangetsu and Sogetsu contemplate revenge or forgiveness. Ajin and humans relations at the kingdoms borders are straind. After that ending I'm looking forward for volume 15.

Bennett Mafia is probably my favorite Tijan novel that I've read thus far. Kai is dark, risk taker, passionate, and will do what is necessary to protect his family. Riley is kinda broken from what happened when she was younger. Though she is broken she is strong and brave. 

I'm still reeling from that ending. I was not expecting that. Ryan's Bed was a very emotional ride. I like both Mac and Ryan. Both characters were good for one another.
