slow-paced

I liked the art style. The story was just meh. I didn't really care about either main character.

I'm not going to lie this was a total cover buy. I went into Bloodguard not knowing what the story was about. I was mildly surprised that I enjoyed it.  I liked both main characters Leith who was a gladiator that was becoming a bloodguard and Maeve the scarred princess with a little memory loss. I'm looking forward to the next book in Old Erth series.

Did I find fault with the story yes. Was I confused at one scene whether or not it was a phone conversation or in person yes. Did I enjoy the story for what it was also yes.

So many of my friends loved this book. I was excited to finally get around to reading Divine Rivals. Unfortunately I don't know if I was just too hyped for it or it just didn't sit with me right. I liked the writing and the letters was by far the best part of the story. I may come back at a later date to give Divine Rivals a reread.

This series just seems to get better with each volume I consume. I like the art style and the story. I'm wondering where the story is going with this doctor showing up and something about light and dark together.

I absolutely loved the color palette of this volume. I would recommend this series to anyone who likes slow burn and a very naive fmc. Things are starting to come to head in this volume and with that ending I cannot wait to read volume 7.

I had such high hopes for Daughter of No Worlds. I believe that I just hyped it up and then when I finally read it it was meh. I did like Max and the premise of the book. I own the sequels but I think I may wait a while and lower my expectations before I continue the series.

Flying Witch is slice of life. This manga made a good palette cleanser between heavy reads. I'm looking forward to see where Makoto and her cousins go next and if they'll see a bear.
