It took me longer to read Tragic Bonds then it did for the first four books in the series. The book ended on such a cliffhanger that I'll pick up the last book immediately just so I know how it ends. Oli and her bonds get even closer in this book. The battle has really picked up the pace. I can't  wait to see what happens. I want to know what Oli's third gift is.

I like the art style of this series. The world is dark, gruesome, and depressing but it makes for a good story. This volume ends on a cliffhanger but lucky for me I waited until there were several volumes out before I started reading so I can jump right into the next volume.

In this second book Fletcher learns who his actual parents are and why he was abandoned in the snow as a baby. He receives a second demon named Athena (Ignatius is still mu favorite.) Fletcher, Othello, Sylva and some new friends head into Orc territory on a mission from the king. OMG....the ending!

I just re read The Novice for what feels like the hundredth time. The story follows Fletcher an orphan found in the snow as a baby and raised by a blacksmith. He is given a scroll by a veteran soldier and he reads it aloud and a demon  Salamander appears. Fletcher is forced to leave home for reasons and ends up attending Adept Military Academy. Their he makes friends with a dwarf and a elf.

The Library of Shadows was everything that I was hoping for. There's loveable characters (Este, Mateo, and the side characters) that I couldn't help but root for. There's a very atmospheric setting (library) and has an undercurrent of mystery. There was plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. I read The Library of Shadows in one setting. I just couldn't put it down.

I think I liked this story, but I'm not completely sure. I do however know for a fact that I liked the writing style. The story is told from two povs from two different timelines. The first pov is told from Indigo's childhood best friend Azure and growing up with Indigo in the House of Dreams. The second pov is told by Indigo's bridegroom in the present. I was not expecting that ending!

This story has everything that I could've wanted - dark, sinister, and gothic it just fell a little flat though. I however did enjoy A Mutitude of Dreams better than A Posion Season. The story follows Seraphina who is pretending to be a dead princess and also happenes to be Jewish and Nico who is a grave digger. The story takes place during a plague.

Nettle & Bone was my first T. Kingfisher book. I believe I just found a new favorite author and I will check out more by this author.
In the first section of the book we are introduced to Marra who is the youngest of three princesses. She is sent to a convent after the death of her oldest sister. She finds out that her middle sister is being abused by her husband  and decides to take matters into her own hands to save her middle sister. She goes to a dust-wife for help and is given three "impossible" tasks. Her tasks are to build a dog of bones (I so want my own dog made of bones), sew a cloak of nettles, and bottle a jar of moonlight.
The second section follows Marra, bone dog, and the dust-wife on their journey as they collect others to help with the mission. They collect a demon possessed chicken, a reluctant fairy godmother, and a disgraced knight named Fenris. This book was so good.

I just reread Nettle and Bone. I enjoyed it even more the second read through. I have read a few other books by T. Kingfisher now and while I have enjoyed them all I believe Nettle and Bone will be hard to top as my favorite by the author.

TOG is my favorite series from Sarah J Maas. I like Maas' writing style and how the story flows. Celaena is one of my favorite characters of all time.
