There are trigger warnings of alcoholism, colonization, self-harm, deaths, mentions of torture, and suicidal ideation. 
A Shadow Crown picks up right where A Broken Blade ended. Politics plays more of a role in this squel. A Shadow Crown ends on a cliffhanger and I need A Vicious Game.

I had a fun time with A Broken Blade. I love the characters and the story and can't wait to see what's in store for the characters in the next books. With that ending I need to read A Shadow Crown asap.

I was hoping for a priest love story but got a horny man. Who knew that priest think the f word so many times. I wanted a more pining,  slowly falling in love, and a battle of breaking his vows.

I love the art style of this manga series. The manga follows the fourth prince Tenyou and his beast servant Rangetsu. The two fall in love and try to change the world so that they can be together.

Check the trigger warnings i.e. rape. I didn't hate the story but I can't say that I liked it either. The story follows Cora and her sister's fiance Dean. They are kidnapped and held in a basement for three weeks and things happen. I may need therapy now.
