Although not particularly well-written, I love the story of Snowman and Harry de Leyer. At times I felt like the author repeated herself over and over again in different ways, and it did affect my enjoyment of the book.

Honestly, I got about 100 pages from the end, and I had to give up on it. It began to seem way too much like some dirty old man's masturbatory fantasy.

This.... This is how I like my horror. Gritty, violent as hell, and no happy endings. Definitely give it a try if you can stomach all the cannibalism.

More like 2.5 stars. I enjoyed the book all the way up until the ending, which I kind of hated. I did enjoy the unique twist on the "classic" movie monsters, though.

Although it ended a little abruptly, I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would.

Horses that eat people. It doesn't get much cooler than that.
