Well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book when I started reading it. Then I got bored of the dumbfuckery plot. At times I caught myself thinking: what the actual pickle-berry is going on??? (A reading slump aka new boyf didn’t help) However I thought I’d get back into reading now that I’m not Garied so much (honeymoon period slightly over but still majorly swooning) and though I’m back to loving reading again, this book didn’t do anything for me, and I just wanted to see if John did actually die at the end...
I do own the second book but whether I’ll read it or not is as clear as first morning piss.

Was expecting something more if I’m honest. I mean, sure, saying that stuff to a 4 year old is really, really weird, but I was expecting something terrible to have happened. Something gruesome or haunting, perhaps. Oh well :)
