Ryo, a trans high school boy, believes that no one will ever be able to understand him. Then he meet Jin, who has the same taste in clothes, and he tells Ryo that they should make their own clothing brand.

I really love reading books from LGBTQ+ authors from outside the USA. Previously I read The Bride is a Boy which is an autobiographical manga, and I only bring it up to mention my appreciation of the contrast between the two manga (I know BRtR is fictional, but the author did base some of the things he or people he knows experienced). You can never know a situation based off one account.  Also, I really appreciate the interview with the author that is included at the end of this first volume.

Main complaint is that Ben is basically a cardboard cutout of a person. Not quite as flat as a penny, but pretty close.

This is a collection of Ito’s earlier works and you can definitely tell. His artwork is a little too pretty and many of the endings are a little too nice. Compared to the other anthologies of Ito’s work, this set is just okay.
