I would like to meet with every main character in this book personally. And then have a group meeting. So well written, such a great way to set the scenes - just a kick-ass book all around. 🤩

This ended up being such a sweet second-chance romance! The beginning was chaotic, which, given the POV, makes sense as you get further into the book. You need to sit with the discomfort as the character develops and grows. It was interesting to see the progression and opinions change as the FMC worked trough the process with the aid of improv. The chapter headers were super helpful in setting the tone for each, and I was eager to learn from them as well. Overall, this was a perfectly "flawed" romance (as in, everyone had a part to play, good and bad), and for a debut novel, was shockingly good. I will definitely be watching for future books by this author!

I have been a fan of Sarah Brenton's since her first book, and I really enjoyed this last book with these characters. Brenton has a gift for creating characters that are flawed and trying, and really are just doing their best to be good humans who love and are loved. I'm not gonna lie...I spent the first 15% of this book thinking, " There is no way this charcter is redeemable." And I was wrong, because they totally were. If you are in the mood for steamy and angst-filled story with some top tier banter, then you will really enjoy this story. I can't wait to see what this author does next!❤️
